Every Shelby GT350® comes with its own unique chassis number, which is displayed on a plaque on the passenger-side instrument panel.

Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution. Neither is the roar from the new raucous, high-revving V-8, code-named Voodoo. The hand-assembled 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft is the most powerful naturally aspirated road-going engine in Ford history, pushing out 526 hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. With a redline of 8,250 rpm, it’s also the highest-revving production V8 Ford has ever created. Like learning how to be a snake charmer, taming the wild engine takes time and tenacity. Its natural aspiration and peaky nature make it docile at low revs. Crest 4000 rpm, however, and a thrust-filled crescendo builds until the 8250-rpm redline.
The upgraded MagneRide® Damping System provides lightning-quick responsiveness to changing road conditions. One thousand times per second—that’s how fast each damper adjusts automatically and allows for optimum handling performance.
Brembo™ front and rear calipers with smooth, two-piece, highly engineered brake rotors haul down the Shelby GT350® in a hurry. The front rotors measure 394 mm (15.5 inches) and in the back they’re 380 mm (14.9 inches). Use of aluminium hats in the rotors helps cut overall weight. The rotors are designed to store and dissipate braking heat during repeated use. Brembo is a trademark of Brembo S.p.A.
The Mustang Shelby GT350® performance enhancements include improved aerodynamics that reduces drag with the new spoiler and adds downforce with new available Gurney flap installed. Other updates include new custom Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, plus chassis and antilock brake tuning for dramatically greater grip.
